65 Apr 24 Comment These stunning coral flowers were perfectly captured against a pleasing green background. Well exposed with sharp details. Great shot, Maria. I would love to have these grow wild in my yard. Apr 12th
65 Apr 24 Comment Love the vibrant blue poppy with its complementary yellow center. It has impact. Well exposed. It pops against the dark background. Nicely done. I also enjoy Lensbaby lenses and Kathleen Clemons. Apr 12th
65 Apr 24 Comment Welcome Esther,
Lovely display of your viburnum blooms. Nice sharp details. The butterfly adds a nice touch. It seems to be a bit noisy. I think reducing the noise in the background would improve the image. Very nice image.

99 Apr 24 Reply Thank you, Gerard. I didn't notice the black beneath the leaves. That was unintended. You have a good eye. Apr 16th
99 Apr 24 Comment Great abstract image, Gary. Nice texture, lines, and details. Following Peter's suggestions to feature the snake image, I cropped the top and the right side eliminating the bright areas. Then I applied the darken/lighten center filter from the Nik Collection. You captured sharp details. Very interesting subject. Apr 11th
99 Apr 24 Comment Hi John,
Good perspective of this man at work. I agree with Peter and Linda that it needs more contrast. Linda's darkened background worked well.

99 Apr 24 Comment Hi Linda,
I can see why this scene attracted your eye. The pelicans appear to be in charge of the boat. I think there needs to be more contrast with the boat and background. Perhaps you could darken the background and water so the boat and pelicans would stand out more. Love the story.

99 Apr 24 Comment Peter, you've captured an interesting story of a woman relaxing with a cigarette and soda. Nicely composed. I like the reflections in the window. Tack sharp throughout. The image holds my interest and keeps my eye in the frame. Well done. Apr 11th
99 Apr 24 Comment Nice shot, Gerard. Trees always attract my attention. This tree against the clean sky background is a great find. It has character. I agree with Linda that it is a good minimalist image. The glow around the tree adds interest. The shadow works well for a leading line. I would only suggest to clean the dark spots/areas on the snow, and also brighten the snow. Good job. Apr 11th
99 Apr 24 Comment Hi Kathleen,
Lovely image. The lines and texture on the bok choy create an interesting abstract composition. Well exposed. It sings Edward Weston. Nicely done. I like it.
