Hi Maria,
Lovely! You captured sharp details on the flower. Well exposed. The raindrops add the finishing touch to this yellow beauty. It pops against the green background. Great job.

Hi Melanie,
You've captured the beauty of the amaryllis. The creamy background and complementary colors worked well. Well exposed. The flowers are sharp and have a rich color, but the centers appear a bit dull and desaturated. I wonder if the added light caused this issue. Nicely composed. |

John, this is a great shot of the Olympic Rings. Sharp details in the image. Good variation of tonal values. Well exposed. However, the background seems a bit distracting. I wanted to give more focus to the subject (Olympic rings), so I selected the background, applied a gaussian blur filter, and darkened the levels. Thoughts? |

Hi Peter,
Well executed composition. You've captured a story resonating to present time events. The light and shadows, and the placement of the soldiers in the frame worked perfectly. Your images are always tack sharp. Most importantly, you managed to connect with the model soldiers helping them to show emotion in their faces. It looks like the real deal. Great job. |

Hi Kathleen,
Great perspective. Nicely composed. Having placed your partner in the image pulls my eye through the frame, and shows the scale of the incredibly, huge rocket. The sharp lines of the rocket pops against the soft background of clouds. Well done. |

Hi Gerard,
Your presentation of Sabine is more dramatic. The black and white treatment with darker shadows on the statue adds more emotional impact. I like your vision and personal touch. |
