Hi Blair,
Lovely shot. Your daughters are beautiful. You captured their beauty, smiles, and love in their faces. Their red outfits against the green foliage worked well.
If you wanted to tweak it a bit, I might darken the edges of the frame a little to give more attention to your daughters. You also could try using the radial gradient in Lightroom to brighten the girls a bit. These are suggestions to try, but I think the image looks great as it is. It's a photo to be treasured. |

Hi Damon,
Love the silhouettes, shadows and reflections. You framed the couple nicely between the window panes. The reflected lines on the floor lead me into the image. Sounds like an intersting place to visit. Good job. |

Incredible capture of this huge floating bubble. Love the colors and little light bursts. I think the iridescence in the bubble still looks good after the sky overlay. Nicely done. |

Welcome to our group, Michelle. Thank you for your kind comments.
I set up my camera on a tripod in a "dark room". I set my shutter speed to 10 seconds. You need long exposure. Using a small flashlight I painted the light over the flower during the exposure. Expect trial and error to get an acceptable shot. It's fun to see the different results. Hope this helps.😊|

Nice dark and moody composition, Dean. The fog amidst the trees adds mystery. The light in the background draws my eye through the frame. One suggestion would be to add a thin stroke around the frame to separate the image from the website's black background. I always add a stroke to my images. I agree, it would have been perfect for Halloween. Good job. |

Hi Maria,
Great shot. You captured the details of the bee on the tiny stem of lavender very well. Good timing, I think the bee is looking at you. The complementary colors add to the image. Nicely done. |

Hi Melanie,
Lovely image. The warm, vibrant colored bed of flowers are pleasing to my eye. Your selective sharp focus of the main flower against the out of focus background worked perfectly. Well exposed. I agree with Dick that a tighter crop would improve the image. Nicely done. |

Yes, Gerard, I added a gradient to darken the upper corner. My intent was to gradually lighten the flower as it emerged from the darkness. Perhaps it was a bit too much. I like your version. Thank you. |

Hi Kathleen,
This is a very interesting and unique image. I like your perspective. Love the shadows. Cropping the image and removing the background as Peter suggested helps me focus on the subject (feet and shadows). It's amazing to see how big the prehistoric creatures were. Thank you for sharing. Nicely done. |

Hi Peter,
You captured a good story of a curious young girl leaning out the window as her hair blows in the breeze. Nicely composed with sharp details. The signage and details inside the store supports the story. Black and white worked well. I would like the image to be straightened at the bottom of the frame. Nice job. |

Hi Gerard,
Your close up presentation of the seed pods against a plain background has the Karl Blossfeldt effect. Well exposed and tack sharp. The shape and curves of the plant have impact. I enjoy viewing Blossfeldt's work and have tried to mimic his style. Well done. |
