Hi Neal,
Nice composition. The vibrant colored fruit pops against the black background. You captured sharp details on the fruit. I agree with you that Charlie's edits improved the image. |

Hi Barbara,
Stunning! The graceful lines and colors of the lily are lovely. It is nicely composed against the black background. I especially like how the pink tones flow over the green bud. Looking forward to its' opening in March. |

Hi Alane,
Colorful, unusual presentation of flowers. The shapes and colors of the lilies in the water hold my interest. Nicely done. I also think Charlie's edits improve the image. |

Hi Charlie,
Behold the eye of a photographer. It seems we always look at things as potential subjects. You found a subject "at hand", and created an interesting abstract image. At first, I thought it was a coin. I'm wonder if you cropped out most of the black background, would it become more abstract? Just a thought. Nicely done. |

Hi Priscilla,
Lovely composition of white roses placed against the black velvet. The greenery nestled between the roses, and the hint of pink on the flowers adds interest. The back rose is sharply focused. Perhaps if you changed your focal point you could capture more sharpness in the front rose and greenery. Either way it's a nice image. I like your stroke as is. |

Hi Murphy,
Simply green and lovely. Nicely composed. Your perspective captured the lines, curves, pattern, and color of the leaf perfectly. The image is sharp throughout and well exposed. Very pleasing to my eye. Well done. |

Thank you for the helpful tip, Murphy. Luckily, I have a silver/gold reflector (not a Photoflex). I only used the silver side, never the gold. However, I will use it in the future. |

Hi Kathleen,
Happiness emits from this image. The little girl is the star of the show. Sharply focused. I like the building reflections in the background storefront. Nicely done. |

Hi Linda,
It must have been exciting to capture so many flying, fluttering birds and achieve sharp focus. In addition to Gerard's and Peter's suggestions, I might darken the top, center bird to almost black to make it the focal point. Great find. |

Hi Michael,
This looks like a fun project. It's unusual so it should create interest and keep the viewer's eye. Sharp and well exposed. I like the presentation, and think it would look good as a print. I think the original succulent looks like a rose. Nicely done. |

Hi Peter,
You created a good story. Your composite is flawless. You captured a thoughtful moment in his eyes as he is reading the book. Nicely exposed. As I look at your original of Patrick, I see you have a little room on the right showing his entire arm and chair. Perhaps I would include that part and not crop it out. Either way it's a great image. Well done. |

Hi Gerard,
Congratulations on capturing a "sharply focused" self portrait. I know it's difficult to do. I tried and failed. Sharp details on your face and beard. Nice job. |
