Hi Jay,
Lovely shot during the sunrise. The light is pleasing. Good DOF. Nice scene with the three arches leading my eye toward the sunlight on the horizon. I edited your image in Photoshop to straighten the arches. I used the perspective crop tool and straightened it. You can play around with the tool and tweak it to your liking. I hope it helps. |

Hi Carol,
The cave is a good nature shot. I don't think you need the people. There are nice elements in the image to enjoy. I might brighten the shadows in the waterfalls and make the falls the focal point. Nicely done. |

Hi Norm,
Unique street photography shot. The reflections of the buildings make this story more interesting. The window washers as well as the reflections are sharp. Well done. |

Hi Stan,
Beautiful architectural image. Nicely composed. The lines in the pavement lead me into the frame. The blue sky complements the building. Sharp throughout. Just perfect, no changes needed. |

Hi Harriet,
Lovely macro shot of the sunflower. Sharp details. Well exposed. The water droplets add a nice touch. I really like the sepia tone and frame. This is a keeper. Well done. |

Hi John,
Great close up shot of the elephant. Sharp details on the elephant. Nice texture on his skin as well as the rocks. I think I would darken the rock formation in the background a bit and allow the elephant to shine. Nicely done. I always enjoy animal portraits. |

Hi Charlie,
Great still life image. The soft low light is moody. The rim lighting around the bottle and glass really adds impact. Thank you for sharing your steps. Well done. |

Hi Priscilla,
Stunning. The pink flowers against the black background have impact. I like the way they're nestled together. My preference would be to see at least part of the stem. However, I have seen flowers presented without stems. Nicely done. |

Hi Alane,
Lovely image. The colors are striking. Nice texture too. You captured sharp details. I agree with Charlie that the background is a bit distracting. Perhaps you could darken it to allow the pretty flower and bee to stand out more. Great find. |

Hi Neal,
The scorpion is tack sharp. I find the background very interesting. The texture and color of the leaves along with the light and shadows makes this image a winner. Well done. |

Hi Murphy,
Lovely and colorful display of zinnias. Well exposed. Sharp details on the flowers and leaves. Good DOF. The vignette makes the flowers pop. This image is very pleasing to my eye. It deserves a frame. Nicely done. |

Hi Randy,
Great perspective. Well exposed. Sharp details. Your black and white conversion leads me down a dark and lonesome street. The lighter colored cobblestones and lines on both sides of the walk pulls my eye to the end of the alley. I like the light and shadows. Nicely composed. |

Hi Kathleen,
Nice shot of the gondolier. I like Michael's edits. However, I would prefer to leave the space on the right side of the frame as the gondolier gazes in that direction. |

Hi Peter,
This is a great emotional shot. You have presented the strong bond between the man and his dog. I like Linda's idea of darkening the background, but I darkened it a little less and kept more white and detail on the dog. You captured a good story. Nicely done. I always enjoy photos with animals. Dogs are my favorite. |

Hi Linda,
Strong impact. You transformed a simple scene into a powerful image with the dramatic sky. Nicely composed. I agree with Michael that B&W worked well. No changes needed. Well done. |

Hi Michael,
This is a very interesting subject. Your perspective and the repeating lines lead my eye through the frame toward the opening at the end of the tunnel. The light, shadows, and texture create a fine black and white image. I like the distortion and think it adds to the story of an old, abandoned tunnel. Great shot. |
