Hi Carol,
Nice composition. You captured a good story with sharp details. The beekeeper and bees stand out against the soft background. You are brave. I run away from bees. Well done. |

Hi Harriet,
Lovely flower image. I really like the sepia tone. Nice texture throughout. Good details. I agree with Norm and Stan to focus on the single flower.
I cropped the image, extended the canvas on top of the flower, and applied a vignette to darken the leaves a little. |

Hi Norm,
IMPACT! The subject, composition, colors, and reflection are perfect. It sounds like it wasn't easy to capture this scene. Your effort paid off. Love it. |

Hi Stan,
Incredible architectural image. Perfectly composed. The wall leads and invites me into the frame. Well done. |

Hi John,
Great shot. You captured nice details in the reflection as well as the bird as he was walking along. His refracted feet in the water adds interest. |

Hi Jay,
Beautiful flower arrangement. Good exposure and sharp details. Your flash lighting worked well. The colors are lovely. The shadows provided depth and interest. I do agree with Stan that there should be more space above the flowers. Perhaps you could extend the canvas. Flower photography is my favorite, and your image is very pleasing to my eye. |

It looks great, Michael. The bird looks like a extension of the branch. |

Hi Michael,
Great find. Nicely composed. The branch and bird created a smooth, graceful art form. You presented it well against the clean background. The branch provides a leading line. I would prefer to see more contrast between the subject and background to give more emphasis on this fine, artful subject. In Lightroom, I increased the contrast and shadows a bit. |

Hi Peter,
Your compositing skills always impress me. Creative and interesting image. I read your narrative commenting that the dancers seem to float. I agree. So, if your intent was to make it a fantasy, maybe you could add a cloud or similar beneath their feet to give that effect. I'll leave that to you as I am not a composite expert. Good lighting and sharp details. |

Hi Randy,
Great perspective. Good composition. The shadows created by the buildings provide a leading line guiding my eye and girl through the frame. The repeating poles on both sides also pull my eye toward the end of the road. Sharp details throughout. Perhaps I would lighten the girl a bit since she is the star, and needs more focus. Good story, nicely done. |

Hi Linda,
This image has strong IMPACT. It is a dark and desolate scene that you captured perfectly. No improvements needed. Well done indeed. |

Hi Gerard,
This image is perfect for black and white treatment. You have captured many elements ( tones, lines, repetition, shapes, texture, and a frame within the frame). The smoke gives life to the image. Good exposure and contrast. This is the type of photograph one would see in an art gallery, where you would sit, study and enjoy viewing. Nicely done.
I agree with Linda and would flip the image. |
