Well composed presentation of the Damselfly. The colors are very pleasing. Nicely done.

63 Mar 22 Comment Hi Richard,
Beautiful portrait. The egrets eyes and beak are striking against his white body. You captured good details in his feathers. Nicely done.

63 Mar 22 Comment Hi Charles,
Well done. The vibrant color of the Glory Pea stands out nicely against the blurred green background. You captured sharp details in the green leaves and buds as well as the flower. Your time and effort spent to improve the background was worthwhile. It is a lovely image.

63 Mar 22 Comment Hi Murphy,
Nice shot. I really like the backlit lighting. It brings out the lovely green color and texture on the leaves. The green leaves against the dark background is striking. However, on my computer I noticed there are slightly lighter, smudged areas on the left and upper right of the background. I might darken the background a bit to hide those areas. Just a thought.

63 Mar 22 Comment Hi Alane,
The presentation of your antique eggbeater and its' reflection on black is well done. You captured sharp details on the shapes, lines, and texture on the eggbeater perfectly. Nice job.

63 Mar 22 Comment Hi Pricilla,
Nice still life image. It is sharp and well exposed. Your placement of the subject and props in the frame create an interesting triangular composition. The texture on the silver props adds interest. Your flower arrangement on the yellow background is lovely. Well done.

63 Mar 22 Reply Thank you Murphy. I now realize that I made two poor choices, (white flower and direct sunlight). Your comments are always helpful. Mar 6th

99 Mar 22 Comment Hi Randy,
This is a very unique subject. It's a keeper and worth trying to present it as best as you can. Perhaps I might try to apply a gaussian blur to the background including the small statue on the right. I also would darken the background a bit. The eggheads deserve the spotlight. Nice capture.

99 Mar 22 Comment Hi Michael,
Well done. Nice composition. Love the curves and strong contrasting tones. Good abstract image. I agree with Gerard's suggestion to clone out the smudged tips.

99 Mar 22 Comment Hi Linda,
Nice shot. You captured the twinkle in his eyes and sharp details on his hair quite well. Like the blurred background. I agree with Gerard. I also would like to see his skin a bit softer. However, your intent may have been to reveal all his wrinkles and add to the story. That would work too.

99 Mar 22 Comment Hi Peter,
Well done. The lighting and sepia tone add to this (James Dean) image. No changes allowed. It's perfect.

99 Mar 22 Comment Hi Gerard,
Great shot and perspective. The branches (leading lines), seedlings (shapes), and subject seedling(texture) add to a nice composition. Good contrasting tones. I like the out of focus background. The original(deNoised) image is my choice. Nicely done.
