Hi Marcela,
It is a nice story. The couple as well as their reflection is sharp. The image works well in b&w. Perhaps I might crop out the entire left side of the frame starting a little behind the couple. There is foliage in the bottom right corner that should be cloned out. I think by eliminating some negative space the subject would have more attention. When you crop the couple will appear larger. Hope it helps. |

Hi Stan,
Very nice nature shot. I'm impressed that you managed to capture the smoothness of the flowing stream handheld. I like Marian's suggestion of a vertical crop. It would lead my eye into the image focused on the stream. |

Hi John,
Good composition. Leading lines, shapes, and texture provided a nice setting for the bird. The subject perched on the rock stands out well against the light colored background. Nice story. |

Hi Harriet
You captured his thoughtful eyes and his y hair. I like your idea of a charcoal image as it worked well with Archie's
black coat. He looks like a little bear. Standard poodles are handsome as well as intelligent. Beautiful portrait. |

Hi Alane,
Amazing hood ornament. It looks like a piece of jewelry. I appreciate the beauty of antiques. The shapes and lines create interest. The diagonal line created by the ornament leads my eye up to the three jewels on top. I wonder if the background above the first silver horizontal line, behind the top of the hood ornament could be darkened. It may give more focus to the subject. However, it may have been your intent to leave all the details in the frame. Nicely done. |

Hi Pricilla,
The contrast of the beautiful gold pin against the brown background works well. There is a lot of nice detail on the pin, but parts of the pin seem to be a bit soft. The stem of the pin provided a nice leading line. |

Hi Randy,
Nice story. Well composed. Your dark exposure supports a sad mood of the old, abandoned homestead. Great choice for B&W. |

Hi Gerard
You were very lucky this bee monster didn't attack you while you were so close. The bee looks like he is coming out of the frame ready to attack. Your feat was accomplished.
Good focus on his face.

Hi Michael,
First I need to say that your edits were well done. You eliminated the road and poles without a trace. This scene was made for b&w. The contasting tones, lines, shapes of the silos, shadows, and the sky (of course) contributed to a fine image. Nice peaceful landscape. |
