19 May 21 Comment Hi Stan,
Nice image. The vibrantly colored balloons frame the subject and adds impact. The lines in the foreground lead my eye into the frame toward the fire burners. I like the ambient light the fire had cast on the spectators. Your hard work paid off.

19 May 21 Comment Hi Marcela,
Great street photo. There is always a good story behind those candid images. It is well exposed. Nice composition. The red brick background balances the red rose tattoos, red scarf, and red on the man's collar and cuff. Perfect title.

19 May 21 Comment Hi John,
Nice black and white image. The shadows create more definitive lines on the clapboards, and the sunlight highlights the texture.

19 May 21 Comment Hi Norm,
Yes, you succeeded in capturing a beautiful singing bird that made me smile😊. The branches provided leading lines to the subject. The green budding leaves complemented the black/red bird. My only suggestion would be to crop a little off the left side of the image just to the left of the main branch.

19 May 21 Comment Hi Carroll,
Great image. You captured good details and texture on the hawk. It is well exposed. The background sky complements the colors of the hawk. His yellow feet hold my interest and curiosity.

19 May 21 Comment Hi Harriet,
Its nice to meet another member of your handsome family. Pearl looks like the boss. You captured her beautiful eyes nicely. The light and shadows add impact. Well composed. The rail and post on the fence provided a nice frame for her portrait. Good details on her face and whiskers. Nice texture on the wood. Well done indeed. I also like the original color image. The shadows on the fence look like it was the Golden Hour.ðŸ˜Å

63 May 21 Comment Hi Priscilla,
The shapes and colors of the brown leaves and branches against the white background works well. You captured nice detail and texture. I like the cascading effect of the leaves. Well done.

63 May 21 Comment Hi Gary,
Good idea. You have the elements of a minimalist image, simplicity, nice colors, contrast, and negative space. It is well exposed. I do wonder if you moved the subject out of the center and placed it in another part of the frame if it would improve the composition a bit. Maybe I would try to place it closer to the bottom left corner. Try flipping and cropping. I would also think about removing the bug to the left to the image. You also captured nice details and texture in the petal.

63 May 21 Comment Hi Murphy,
This image is very pleasing to my eye. You captured sharp details on the main flowers. It is well composed. The blurred flowers created the perfect background colors.

63 May 21 Comment Hi Alane
You captured a beautiful image, and a very interesting story. It holds my interest and keeps my eye in the frame. The iced branches and icicles adds impact. Well composed and sharp. I like it a lot. It's unique.

63 May 21 Comment Hi Neal,
Your composition adds impact. The leading lines in its tail draws my eye up to his colorful head. You have created movement in the image. It appears as if the little bug was in the attack mode. Nice texture and sharp details. It is perfectly exposed. Well done, once again.

Very nice portrait of you in deep thought. It is well composed and sharp. I like that your hat has added a frame to your face.

99 May 21 Comment Hi Michael,
Good story. You captured that dark, cold, foggy mood. It is well composed. The vertical posts on the bridge leads my eye up to the bridge and takes me further into the fog ending up in the tree. It creates a mystery. I agree with Peter. A thin white border would define the edges of your frame. Well done.

99 May 21 Comment Hi Linda,
Lovely! You transformed the original image into a work of art. It is well exposed and has good depth of field. I enjoy taking shots of flowers too, but I never thought about a black and white conversion. You have motivated me to try.

99 May 21 Comment Hi Peter,
Well done. You succeeded in portraying the feeling of yesteryear. You managed to capture sharp details, and most importantly the twinkle in her eye. Great texture on her dress, hair, and jewelry. I do like the border, but I think it took away the original space above her head, right elbow, and left hand on the sofa. There was extra space in the color image. This is a perfect nostalgic image.
