19 Apr 21 Comment Hi Norm,
You are very creative. It must have taken time to capture the droplets and motion in the milk. I would not have known it was milk if it weren't titled. It is a perfect abstract. Black and white suits it well. Your skill shines through.

19 Apr 21 Comment Hi Stan,
You have captured a breathtaking view. It's well composed, sharp, and has good depth of field. Nature has provided you with a perfect color palette. Your composition draws my eye to the two brave souls out on a ledge.

19 Apr 21 Comment Hi John,
It sounds like a great place for photography. The image is well composed. The implied diagonal line created between the two tractors draws my eye into the frame. The colors of the tractors are complementary to each other. It is well exposed and sharp. I like the texture in the gravel and rust. The image provides interest. I did notice some trees poking out on top of the green tractor. I don't think it adds anything to the image. Maybe I would clone the trees out and see how it looks. Just a thought.

19 Apr 21 Comment Hi Carroll,
Great impact. This is a powerful image of a beautiful owl. My only suggestion would be to darken the background to focus all the attention on the owl.

19 Apr 21 Comment Hi Marcela,
Please disregard my previous comment if you read it. I came back and looked at your image again. I think if you cropped out the trees on the right side of the image and keep what appears to be a branch next to the bird, it would help to keep my eye more focused on the subject. You managed to capture good detail and sharpness through the screen quite well. The background colors complement the colors of the bluebird. I like it.

19 Apr 21 Comment Hi Harriet,
Pierre is a handsome fellow. You managed to capture all his fine features. His magnificent color, the nice texture in his feathers, the details on his face, and very importantly his eye looking at you, are all presented well in the image. How lucky you are to have beautiful pets to photograph. Nice story.

You managed to capture good detail despite the glass and sparkles. The lines, texture, colors, and shapes on the heels provide a composition within the composition. Nice presentation.

63 Apr 21 Comment Welcome Gary,
The subject and colors are pleasing to my eye. The details on the flower and bee are sharp. The background is interesting, but I agree with Murphy and Richard that it should be darkened.

63 Apr 21 Comment Hi Neal,
You managed to capture the finest details in this little pest. I never realized flies had so many colors. I like your composition having him fly out of the upper corner. It provides a little action. Well done.

63 Apr 21 Comment Hi Priscilla,
Lovely image. The colors are striking. It is well exposed and sharp. The paper provides a little texture in addition to the complementary color. I agree with Richard's suggestion to darken the background a bit to give more focus on the beautiful tulip.

63 Apr 21 Comment Hi Murphy,
You have a good eye for seeing interesting subjects. The colors provide great impact. The colors against the grey background is perfect. Good composition. The large rock in the foreground anchors the image and leads my eye in and up to the flowers. Different textures in the wildflowers and rocks keeps my interest. Well done.

95 Apr 21 Reply Hi Tom
Please know that your image is incredible. No excuses are needed. It is well exposed. You captured great details and DOF, especially with one shot. I couldn't have achieved that. It deserves high ratings. I find focus stacking to be tedious and demanding a lot of patience. I have to be in the mood.

Not distracting at all. I like it. I find it to be very pleasing to my eye. I commented on it being soft because all your images have been very sharp, and you have guided me to always try to achieve sharpness. So I thought you always expected images to be perfectly sharp.

95 Apr 21 Comment Hi Tom,
Lovely flower with nice colors. I like the turned petal in the center. However, on my computer it appears to be a bit soft.

95 Apr 21 Comment Hi Carol,
You managed to capture all his colors and iridescence nicely. I have never tried to photograph insects but I'm sure it must be challenging. You did a good job focusing on his eyes especially as he was moving.

95 Apr 21 Comment Hi Bill,
Now I understand why you are a good photographer. You also are a contortionist and are able to capture impossible shots with great success. I know that crocuses are very small. Your little flower is well exposed and tack sharp. The colors are striking. Maybe I would darken the background a bit to give more attention to the flower.
