96 Dec 23 Comment Hi Gloria,
Thank you for sharing.
Wow, the color of sky is very beautiful. It looks like you were at the right timing. What I like about the image is how you did in post processing. By dehazing, it add subtlety more in my view. The colors reflected on the water is well captured as well.
I do not have any suggestion to improve but I believe there is a dust spot in the center of the sky. You might want to take it out.
Well done.

96 Dec 23 Comment Hi Robert,
Thank you for sharing.
Composition wise, it works for me.
The beaustiful yellow flowers catch the eye, the sweeping arch stems of flowers guide my eyes to the main subject(as you mentioned). The mountain layers at the back give the great depth in the image. The dark clouds hint future anxiety. Only the small caveat would be the space in right side, you might want to consider to crop just a bit. It looks a bit too spacious without anything to see.
The story wise, "Beauty and the Beast" does not fit well with the image in my opinion.
The beauty is flowers. That's fine for me. I wish there are more flowers facing the camera but the colony of flowers do look beautiful.
But when it comes to the "beast", the mountain looks beautiful as well (it is my personal impression). It is covered with mist/fog and clouds. It looks mystery. In personification, it looks feminin. When I hear "beast", what I expect would be "ugly", "outstanding presence", or "rugged" charactor.
Of course, this comment does not deny of the image itself. The image itself is excellent, just titling does not well connected with the image.
Hope it make sense.

96 Dec 23 Comment Hi Bob,
Let me start with my appreciation on your support made for us Group96. It is not easy for me to express my deep gratitude in Englich due to my limited English, but your support was wonderful and provide me with confort to stay in the Group. I have stayed a couple of groups but your support was best ever.
Hope all turned out to be fine and wish you the best.

Now switching the gears to the comment on the image.
I do not think you need an iconic subject for me, just need a "story" to present.
This image tells the story as you described. For me it is heart-warming and makes me calm. I guess this represents your charactor. I really respect that.
It is simple composition, but looks good.
I thought taking out the colors might enhance the story, so I tried myself.
Here is my attemt.
I clone out the roof on left. Sorry.
