Hi Catherine. How lucky are you to find Pelican chicks! I love that I can feel the texture of their skin. I also like that you were able to get a close up. |

I like the triptych idea, but would prefer it to be one and the same image divided into three parts. I find the color around the composition a bit distracting. Did you try and take a pano? I think that could work quite nicely for you. |

I am jealous! I love wildlife and to have such a regal animal come up this close it a treat. What a cool interaction! |

Hi Henry. I agree with the others about the crop being a bit tight. I love that the image is on the diagonal. The color is quite nice. I think it could be a bit sharper. |

I love street photography! I too usually feel uncomfortable taking photos of people in the street. Henri Cartier Bresson did some wonderful street photography that I often look at to be inspired. I am told that some street photographers actually carry their camera on their side at their hips, so the subjects don't realize they are being photographed. You really have to know your camera to do this, but with practice it could work. I love the crop, although I would prefer to see the boys feet. I might also leave a bit more space on the left side, so that the two woman on the storefront window were not so close to the edge. For me, that creates a bit of tension. I love that the boy and the woman almost seem to interact. Good eye! |

Love the creativity of the spray paint artist, particularly the post. I agree the the others that the right side could use a crop. |

Hi Julie. I didn't darken the shadows because normally shadows are somewhat transparent. I also like the texture to show through. I am not sure darkening them will look correct when image was taken in full sun. It might work on the black and white version as the intensity of the light is a bit more dull. Interesting thought.
