For how you set up the photo you did well. My camera is so heavy I can't even hold it with one hand. I agree with Melissa. Next time set up the tripod with a timer. Years ago I did a small series titled with these hands. I wanted to capture elderly hands at busy work. Keep it up. |

Puppy love. Oh how we love our fur babies. The sweetness of the Lab allowing the puppy to play with her. We are looking at the end of life with my lab mix who we have had to 15 years. I will always remember these last 15 year of joy with my baby Max. |

Hi Tom: Question first...was this baby alive or dead when the photo was taken? I ask because we only see part of the butterfly and the blue background does not seem natural due to no depth of field. You got this image microscopic perfect. Yep, those hairs on the back pop right out. |

Hi Karen - beautiful flowers with wonderful focus on the subject. I did play with the cropping since my eyes kept going down the photo to the flowers out of focus. Right or wrong I think you displayed a lovely image for us to see. |

Thank you Melissa. I will never look at a dandelion the same way again after this bad hair day. |

Thank you Linnea for taking the time to review my iamge for this month. I was so afraid of lightening the foreground and possible changing the object intent I was looking for. Mostly when I'm on vacation I get comments from my family to take their photo. However, they complain too much...sunset do not. Have a bless Christmas. |

Hi Rick: I love this image. Love the texture and colors. One would think that f4 would give you a more blurred background. However, I wonder if you had made it shallower you may have missed the last posts. My only other thought is I would have liked to have a little more space to the right. It seems a little tight to me. But who know maybe there was an outhouse we didn't want to see :-) |

I love everything about this image. The foreground gives me perspective and calm. The drama of the fire spinner gives me joy and wonder. There is a cropping tool in photoshop called the golden spiral. I put your image on PS and cropped with the spiral. Let me know what you think. Above all...great image. |

Linnea - I love this image. I'm glad you did not try and center it. I think I may have cropped it a little more. Your eye for the detail was spot on. |
