When I'm in Photoshop and working on a raw image there is a correction that I can select with one click to remove chromatic aberration. It will remove the shadow around the object is the best way I can explain it.

Nice photo. The person at the bottom is a slight distraction. Texture of the water is good. I wonder what the photo would look like is you rotated it slightly to the left? It seems that the horizon is dropping to the right. |

I love that it looks like a water color. For photography I agree with Donna that I would like it a little more in focus. The background in comparison to the flower is lovely. |

Lovely. I need to start looking at more flowers. Would removing chromatic aberration have helped remove the black line around the flower? I only ask because this is a comment I have had on some of my photos. |

Thank you for your comments and taking the time to recrop my photo. Yes I could have cropped it better. The wind was blowing so much and the temp was well into the 40's. I had been wanting to shoot this art exhibit for over a year. It knew it would be very difficult with the restrictions on no tripods allowed in the art exhibit. Grab shot...not. But with honest critiques I can learn. |

I love trying to get these shots and so often take just for the fun of it. Lighting has so much to do with the final quality of the photo. What was your ISO and aperture set at? |
