Hello Bogdan, this is a beautiful capture of the mood and tranquility of the place and the time. Little bit of soft sunlight make the church visibly little more distinct but still mix with the surrounding well. I would not sharpen it at all as it destroys the mood of the photo. I like as the way it is. Great capture! |

Hi Marilyn, you captured a great portrait of the little girl. The very slightly soft focus goes well with the softness of the skin. I would not sharpen it beyond what you did. Great work! |

Hello Lance, I agree with you that Nature is a great source for visualizing beauty, variations and uniqueness and they are in abundance around us if you are looking for them. This is a great example how the beauty of a fallen leaf is enhanced by a layer of ice and the surrounding. I always look for such simple joy when I am in Nature. Thanks for sharing your vision. |

Hello Mark, I like your framing of the house with arched rocks. The texture of the rock is the main attraction in the photo and I always feel that rocks tell fascinating stories. Great seeing and capturing! |

Jon, I like that you included a good portion of the beach with the close up of the sand dollar. Few grains of sand broke the beautiful pentagon design on the shell, which made it more interesting to look at. I hope you had a great vacation. If there is one thing I would change is reducing exposure of the sandy part on the top, it looks little blown out. Great seeing and capturing! |

Thanks Margaret! I agree, the truck entering the highway from the left, I think, provides some context to the road |

Jon, thanks for your comments. We were warned not to go too close to the edge. Good thing is that wind was pushing us backwards. I wish I moved to another spot to avoid the bush, I find it bit distracting too. |

We took a van (10-12 people) to go all the way up and the speed of the van on this twisty road was not that slow. We had a great driver and the turns never felt that bad. Seeing the road from this cliff looked quite scary. |

Happy New Year Mike! The 3rd version to me (after Margaret's comment) is most impactful. Great suggestions! |

Hi Adi, Happy New Year. I liked your idea of capturing the scene with the legs of the 3rd person. Having three subjects made the photo more dynamic and interesting. The high-key exposure is a great touch and made it more artistic. I think the photo might be bit stronger without the two empty chairs. Here is what I meant- |

Hi Margaret, thanks for sharing the portrait of your grand-daughter. You have captured her beautiful eyes and her smile nicely. Covering part of the face and small part of one eye with black wrap, I think, is a great idea as it added to the subtlety.
I think the light on her face is little brighter than I would like. I attempted to adjust a little bit with a radial filter and then separately brightened the eyes |
