83 Dec 22 Comment Hi Adi, great capture of the real and fantasy worlds with precise positioning and timing. Here is my interpretation- The man might be on the sidewalk walking but I think we are seeing both the man and the woman in reflection. You can see that part of the body of the woman is reflected on the monitor. You can see reflection of structures of the building through the head of both of them. The woman is closer to you and you might be seeing the reflection of the man through two layers of glasses. Let me know if I am even partially right! Dec 21st
83 Dec 22 Comment Hello Mark, Great capture of tornado clouds, very dramatic sky. Dec 21st
83 Dec 22 Comment Hi Jon, I like the color you choose to go with the mood of the scene and a glimpse of the intricacies of the beams holding the bridge. The lights looks bright and the star effect is making them look bigger and they are taking away my attention from appreciating the bridge itself. Have you also taken shots showing more of the bridge and shorter than 20 sec exposures? Dec 21st
83 Dec 22 Comment Hi Mike, I applaud you for trying something new and getting feedback. I agree with Margaret on the treatment being little harsh and as a result washed out the puffy clouds. I liked the "Original 2" better because it gives better perspective of the place. Have you tried experimenting with O2? Dec 21st
83 Dec 22 Comment Hello Margaret, This is a wonderful capture of a scene that highlight the past "the boat" and a signature "the pine tree" of this historic island. The boat, the pine tree and the clouds+distant mountains form the triangle. I like the overcast sky and subdued clouds which help me stay more focused on the main subject, which is the boat. I would go with a 16x9 format as Lance suggested, put little bit of more light on the boat and sharpen a bit. Dec 21st
83 Dec 22 Reply Hello Adi, welcome to the group and it is nice to meet you as well. Many thanks for your comments. The photo here is a B&W conversion. Dec 14th
83 Dec 22 Reply Hi Mike, I appreciate your comments. It's a canyon and expected to be busy. The road and the cars, I thought when took the photo, provides a break from the ruggedness of the area as well as show human interest in knowing the history Dec 14th
83 Dec 22 Reply Margaret, thanks for your comments. I visited both Bryce and Zion Canyon visit with my son. It was a great trip. Dec 14th
83 Dec 22 Reply Hello Lance, thanks for your feedback. I think I understand what you meant by 'too busy' and after looking at comments on Jennifer's photo. I reduced the contrast by 20 points on LR and used linear and radial gradients to bring some difference in the tone, e.g. I reduced the exposure of in the photo. Looking forward to your comments.
