Hi Margaret, great portrait of Russel and great title! I like the grey background which blended with the sweater well and allowed me to stay with the rest of the photo which tells the story. Great! |

Hi Tom, the serpentine walkway is nicely captured and sharp throughout. However, the high contrast sky and the clouds are taken away my focus from the walkway. I have no experience but could it be this high contrast look is IR interpretation of the sky? |

Hi Mike, It's a great capture of the era. I have seen a number of photos taken at Bodi but have not visited yet. The photograph is sharp throughout and I love the B&W tone. There is something sticking out on the left edge near the middle, which distracted me. I would most probably step back a bit to capture a wider view |

Hello Margaret, welcome to the group. Thanks for your comment. I have taken photos of few other kite surfers that day where you can see the surfer well and their acrobatic maneuvers. But I have chosen to share this one because it allows the viewer to almost imagine, like you did, that there is a person in the mist and feel the tension. I think it allows viewers engagement to the photograph. |
