Jon, thanks for your comments. I agree, specially after seeing Ally's photo taken from the same spot, I wish I included the entire tree |

Lance, thanks for your comment. The original photograph is quite sharp. I have done slight adjustment in LR (highlights and shadow) and increased texture (+32), clarity (+12) and sharpening (12) |

Lance, I think the blue tone made the photo visually stand out and revealed more texture of the broken trees. But I am more interested to know why you choose this tone. |

Hi Ally, welcome to the group. The exposure is perfect for your photo. The texture on the woods of the main house on the left stands out nicely. I wish I can see more of the house specially the top part. |

Jon, a great capture of a time when carriage was the mode of transportation. The carriage is nicely framed by two adjoining houses and also by the frame outside. I used a radial filter to bring down the exposure of the woods behind the carriage. Let me know what you think |

Hi Jennifer, I like the abstract nature of the photo and for which it takes couple seconds to find the gator. The pattern of the waves is same as those on the gator's back which makes it even harder to separate the gator. Only thing that was drawing undeserved attention was the reflection of sun on the waves in front of our view. I brought down the exposure around the gator using radial filter in LR. |
