83 Oct 20 Comment Hello Jose, thanks for this well captured and perfectly exposed photo. The BW version is so much stronger! You captured a wonderful moment where you can see Felito and one of his kid who has very similar expression as his father are sitting on one side of the log while his other kid has a very different expression and he is on the other end of the log with the water flowing in between them. Well done! Oct 24th
83 Oct 20 Comment Hi Judith, I like the mist and layers of water coming down but I like to see more of the Niagara Falls to have the context. I like the other photo you posted better. Oct 24th
83 Oct 20 Comment Lance, your photo captured the mood of the day very nicely. The fact that Pete is sitting on the beach and looking at the water and the waves at a distance matched the mood of the day. Well framed and nicely composed, loved it. Oct 24th
83 Oct 20 Comment Joe, Welcome to the group. Love the photo of Empire State Building. Nicely separated from other buildings and every part of the image is sharp. I agree with Dianne regarding the position of the moon, it is right in the middle and bright and I think it is taking the focus away from this magnificent building. May be dimming the moon little bit can help. Oct 24th
83 Oct 20 Reply Thanks Lance. I always appreciate your comments. I will try a metal print first. Oct 13th
83 Oct 20 Reply Hi Steve, thanks for your comment 'abstract but completely realistic'. It is so true and that is why I was intrigued. Also thanks for sharing a personal story. Oct 13th
83 Oct 20 Reply Hi Judith, thanks for your honest comment which I always appreciate. I was amazed by the intricacy of the flow, which are highlighted by the large number of branching and sub-branching of the flow. This level of complexity in the flow was not obvious by just looking at the shallow water flowing over the sand. The B&W version helped to highlight the architecture of the flow and gave an abstract look.
