ONE OF THE THINGS I MISS HERE IN FLORIDA, IS BEING ABLE TO GO FOR A RIDE IN THE COUNTRY, WHERE YOU GET TO HAVE SCENES LIKE THIS, WITH THE TREES {EVEN SOME CHANGING COLORS}, OVERCAST RAINY SKIES, AND FLOWING STREAMS.
I WISH YOU DID HAVE THE TIME TO GET OUT YOUR NIKON.THE IMAGE WOULD BE MUCH BETTER IF YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN THE FULL "S" CURVE OF THE STREAM, NOT HAVING THE BRUSH IN THE FOREGROUND BLOCKING IT OUT WOULD BE NICE, IT WOULD ALLOW US TO FOCUS ON THE CANOERS, I DID NOTICE THAT THE PASSENGER LOOKS A LITTLE BORED, THAT WOULD HAVE ADDED SOME INTEREST.
YES I CAN SEE IN THE UPPER LEFT CORNER WHERE THE CLONING DIDN'T WORK TOO WELL, AS YOU KNOW WORKING WITH THE BEST
I-PHONE THEY JUST DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PIXELS TO DO VERY MUCH.

I LIKE THAT YOU USED B/W ON THIS IMAGE, THAT REALLY HELPS TO TAKE MY EYE AWAY FROM THOSE FEW WHAT YOU CALL DISTRACTING ITEMS IN THE BACKGROUND BUT THEY ARE NATURAL TO THE SCENE, SO THEY DON'T BOTHER ME, IF THEY WERE COLORFUL IT WOULD BE A LITTLE MORE DISTRACTING.
I LIKE THAT YOU LEFT SOME ROOM IN FRONT OF THE HORSE TO RUN INTO,UNFORTUANTLY LOST JUST A LITTLE OFF THE TAIL OF THE SECOND ONE.
THE EXPOSURE SEEMS GOOD, AND WITH THE SHUTTER SPEED YOU CHOOSE WE CAN SEE ACTION IN THE FEET OF THE HORSES.
THE SCENE YOU CAPTURED HAS MY EYE GOING TO THE RIDERLESS HORSE, HE SEEMS TO BE THE STRONGEST SUBJECT, AND I HAVE TO SEARCH FOR THE COWBOY WHO IS HIDDEN BY THE HAZER AND HE HAS TURNED AWAY LOOKING BACK, SO WE DON'T SEE HIM EITHER.
I'M SURE IF YOU HAVE SHOTS JUST A SECOND BEFORE YOU WOULD HAVE BOTHE RIDERS IN A BETTER POSITION.

HAVEING BEEN INVOLVED WITH MANY RODEOS, ITS POSITION POSITION POSITION, I THIS CASE I WOULD MOVE WAY RIGHT AND GET THE RIDERS COMING MORE AT ME, TRY THAT NEXT TIME (WHENEVER THAT MAY BE)!!

I SEE THAT YOU AND DAMON HAVE BEEN HAVEING QUITE A LONG DISCUSSION ON YOUR IMAGE ALREADY SO I DON'T FEEL THAT I NEED TO COMMENT TOO MUCH.

WITH THAT SAID ONLY THING TO SAY IS I DO LIKE THE IMAGE FLIPPED AS YOUR LEADING LINE(THE SHORELINE) DRAWS MY EYE TO THE RIGHT AND PLACES THE KAYAKS IN A BETTER PLACE IN THE FRAME AS MY EYE IS USUALLY SEES MORE ON THE RIGHT SIDE.
I DID LIGHTEN UP THE FOREGROUND BUSHES ON ON THE LEFT ENHANCING THE LINE EVEN MORE. ALSO COULDN'T BRIGHTEN UP THE KAYAK MUCH BUT DID JUST A LITTLE.

DO EITHER OF YOU USE LR??? BECAUSE IN THERE YOU HAVE THE EASIEST TOOL FOR STACKING HDR TYPE IMAGES KINDA A ONE BUTTON OPERATION.

THE DAFFODIL IS ELECTRIC.
I REALLY LIKE THE COMPOSITIOLN OF THIS IMAGE, YOU'VE PLACED IN A VERY NICE POSITION, MAYBE TAKING ABOUT ONE INCH OFF THE LEFT WOULD KEEP IT IN BALANCE WITH THE THE SPACING AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM AND LEAVING THE ROOM ON THE RIGHT WHERE THE FLOWER IS LOOKING TOWARD.
THE HARDEST THING TO HANDLE ARE THE WHITES, YOU HAVE GOOD EXPOSURE ON THEM. THE CENTER OF THE FLOWER IS A STRIKING ORANGE, PUTTING IT IN SHARP CONSTRAST ON THE WHITE PEDALS.
JUST MY OPINON, GO FOR MORE DOF, I SEE YOU USING F5.6 MAYBE
F11 AND GET MORE IN SHARP DETAILS, JUST LOOKS KINDA OF SOFT IN THE CENTER.

I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT YOUR IMAGE FOR A LONG TIME AND THEN COMING BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN. NOW HAVING DONE THAT,HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS.

FIRST THE COLORS ARE OUTSTANDING, WE DON'T HAVE MT ASH HERE (WE DON'T EVEN HAVE MTS)BUT I DO BELIEVE THESE ARE TRUE COLORS IN FALL.
YOU HAVE A TELLTALE DIAGONAL LINE FROM BOTTOM LEFT TO UPPER RIGHT, IN THE BACKGROUND OF THE DARK GREEN LEAVES, THAT KEEPS TAKING MY EYE THRU THE IMAGES WHERE I FIND MYSELF LOOKING FOR MAYBE HIDDEN DESIGNS ( I DIDN'T FIND ANY), BUT I'LL KEEP LOOKING.
WHEN I FIRST LOOKED AT THIS IMAGE SOMETHING STRUCK ME AS FAMILIAR...THEN IT CAME TO ME, "MONET" LILY POND KIND OF SCENES, LOOKING DOWN THRU THE WATER TO THE GROWTHS UNDER THE WATER, THAT'S THE FEELING I GET WHEN I LOOK THRU THE FOREGROUND.

INTERESTING FAN, I CAN SEE THAT YOU TILTED THE IMAGE AS THE DOF RUNS FROM RIGHT TO LEFT ACROSS THE IMAGE,
THIS IS AN IMAGE LYOU CAN TAKE FROM MANY DIFFERENT ANGLES, I FEEL LIKE I MAY HAVE FOCUSED FURTHER BACK TO CAPTURE THOSE THREE VEINS MAKING THAT THE MAIN SUBJECT LIKE AN ARIAL VIEW OF A RIVER SYSTEM.
THEN ALL THAT DISTRACTING STUFF ON THE RIGHT WOULD DISAPPEAR,
I NWOULD CERTAINLY KEEP THE ANGLE OF VIEW, IT ADDS THE TEXTURE, STRAIGHT DOWN WOULD LOOK VERY FLAT, THE LIGHT COMING FROM THE SIDE ALSO HELPS ADD DETAIL.
BY THE WAY BELIZE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CENTRAL AMERICAN COUNTRIES, LOVE THE PEOPLE THERE.

YOU AND HELICON STRIKE AGAIN.
THE AREA OF FOCUS IS SHARP AND FULL OF DETAIL, I LIKE THE LINES OF THE ANTENAE AND THE LEGS, AS THEY ALL LEAD THE EYE TO THE EYES.
THE COLORS DO WORK TOGETHER WELL, HAVING GOOD CONTRAST ON THE RIGHT, JUST NOT AS GOOD ON THE LEFT WITH THE BLURRY WING.
PERSONALLY THE IMAGE SEEMS TOO CROWDED, WISHED IT AT MORE ROOM AROUND HIM.
