What a nice shot Lamar. The colors and composition are great. I was wondering if you had done any other pictures of this. The reason I am asking is it makes me want to look down the beach to the left. I would be interested to know if you stepped more to the right giving a bit more angle to the path, while bringing the path out of the centre what would look like. It would also satisfy my need to look more down the beach. |

Great shot Frans. The colours and sharpness of the trees on the right and centre are great. I also like the way the trees on the right are lit up. I was wondering about the tree on the left. I was wondering if the picture would be better if it was cropped on the left to take out this tree. It is the only tree that has no light on it and seems to take away from a powerful picture...very nice! |

Hi Todd, this is a very striking photo...lots of interesting lines on the dune. I think the black sky may make the picture out of balance. The trees beside the dune are interesting but are blotted out by the blackness of the sky. Good experiment! |

Very nice shot Kathyrn. I have tried shooting the Grand Canyon and it is not an easy task. You have caught the beauty of the place. I think Lamar has a good point. When looking at the picture my eye was not sure where to look. The beauty of the rainbow or the interesting path through the canyon. Although beautiful, it makes me not sure what you wanted to view to focus on. Perhaps dividing it in two may make two strong pictures. |

Hi Pierre, interesting shot...it can be hard to shoot snow. Just curious if there would be an opportunity to create an abstract shot. You could slow the shutter down and move the lens from bottom to top. It may do some great things with the color and snow. |

Hi Judy, great shot...I do agree with Pierre that cropping the top and bottom would help to show off the sailboats better. I also think I would crop out the two sailboats on the left and maybe the two on the left. Put a card up on each side of the picture and see what you think. |
