Beautiful shot! Great detail with a black subject. Composition and cropping are excellent. I really like the blue sky showing through the ends of the feathers. |

I don't mind the brown spots, gives the subject character and tells a story that Sherry touched on. I like the detail in the fuzzy sharp thorns. |

Nice shot Peter! Love the colors and textures on the water background. The eye and feet are sharp, good freezing of movement of the wings. My humble opinion; the bird may appear a little soft due to a loss of detail because the lightest parts of the body is a tiny bit hot? |

Beautiful sharp image with great timing. I like the crop and the detail in the feet grasping the log. The tip of a branch above his/her head and the one in the upper right corner is a little bit distracting. |

Excellent capture of a beautiful Cooper's Hawk. I really enjoy birds the group shares that I typically don't see.
Eye is sharp, good detail in the feathers. Really like the bokeh from the trees. I agree, the blue sky is a bit bright. |
