I have two cropped versions attached in replies to Donald and Sarita. This image was only worth sharing because of your advise for me to use Topaz DeNoise. Thanks you for your advise. Post processing is my week point, dealing with noise was so frustrating and this has made a huge difference with making a lot of my captures usable. Living in the North West I'm always shooting on cloudy days, in the forest or in a shadow of the mountains. I feel more confident knowing I can shoot higher ISO and not be terrified of the noise. |

Thank you for your comment and suggestion. I wanted to capture that he was on a ridge and I liked the wind swept tree. I do like it cropped as you suggested, its more about the subject. I felt if I cropped it more he wouldn't have enough room to move. What do you think? |

Nice shot. I'm a fan of shallow depth of field, you proved it isn't always best, great in camera work. I was out shooting bald eagles today, hopefully I will have a capture worth sharing next month. |

Very sharp and colors really pop. Like the shallow depth of field. Humming birds along with the king fisher are my nemesis, one day I will get a shot worth sharing. |

Great capture. I spend the vast majority of my time shooting big game type wildlife. I do enjoy birds and ducks and always strive for good action shots like this...Great job! |

Fun capture. I have found myself on the back deck shooting birds and squirrels for hours. I like the depth of field, agree with Sherry, a little noisy. |
