I can't remember if I used HDR but I sure did use NIK's detail extractor filter which is a lot like HDR. You can eliminate any unwanted HDR effects selectively. |

I love this image Gloria. This is why you want to play with HDR. The detail is outstanding. The out of focus frame is a giant plus. Very well done. |

Really a great landscape. You were very fortunate and had great vision for this capture. I also liked Gloria's HDR effect, the sky can be darkened a bit to bring your eye back to the center. NIK also has a lighten center and darken edge you can try. |

I like trying out these filters. Sometimes they work and sometimes not so much but you may as well give it a shot. Nice try. |

Very nicely done Alastair. I also like the texture caused by the condensation. The boarder also works for me, it reminds me of a print. |

While looking around the abstracts in the image the water bug really caught and held my attention. I was wondering if it was on the water or the branch? Good job. |
