i like the shot, yet, to me, it seems like something doesn't bring me into the feel of the picture. i am not sure you need the sky in the picture, it seems to detract from what you said you wanted to focus on, the field. you might crop to eliminate the sky,to just above the tree tops on the right side. crop the foreground to just before the water, to eliminate the dark rock on the left side and maybe crop on the left side to just before the little house. Increase, using the brush, increase the color in the field, both green and yellow. then use the brush on the boats, reduce shadows, to bring a little more prominent in the picture. just some thoughts, it might bring out what you were trying to capture. |

i love the idea of what you were trying to capture. love the colors. i think i would crop a little on the left and the right. i think it would bring balance as Gary was saying and focus your eye more to the sun, rather than the bridge. |

Love the colors and the brown and blue sky contrast. i think coping the foreground more would enhance the photo more. would also bring out the skull more. if you did that you might also bump up the clouds to be a little whiter, which may keep you in the picture as you wonder around the shot. |

I love the shot and what you have done. Nice that i get to see their edits, which tends my comments more to what Trey had to say. lightening the tree line, does change the feel of the photo. i like how you brightened the colors. i love more vibrant colors in my photos, and i think you do a great job. |

I like the idea for converting the photo to B&W. At the same time I think the color photo would look very nice as well. i agree with what has been said, not sure of what is your focal point, I believe it is the Barn, and if that is the case, then maybe lighten the barn to make it the focal point. i think you could take out some of the foreground to accomplish part of the focal point, the diagonal line is distracting. you also might bump the clouds to be whiter, which may also increase the whispeness (sp) of the other part of the sky. Nice shot. |
