Lou,sorry to hear you are leaving the group. please drop in when you can. i would love to get there someday. the others have mentioned some of the things that caught my eye, but really like the photo. one additional thought, maybe lighten the front right corner a little, i think it might balance the photo and draw me into the photo. for some reason, my eye stops there and wonders what is there and sort of takes me out of the photo. I love the composition, colors and snow. Best wiehes. |

i like how you brought out the detail with lightening the pathway. one suggestion, not sure and haven't tried, but i wonder if you try lightening the beginning of the path a little as it starts. i think what happened, was when you brought up the green, it might have affected the color of the water. Nice capture. |

I have not been there, but is on my bucket list. i like what you did in post processing. brightening and not showing any noise. i do not use Luminar, a friend of mine does, and loves it. i rally like how my eye wants to look at all the curves and angles,keeping me in the photo. Nice shot. |

Some day i hope to get to Africa! Been too rich for my blood at this point. Everything the others said i agree with, not sure how you extend a photo, would love to learn. Then again i guess if I could use PS I would know. Did you try and lighten the baby elephants and the one on the left side? i think, if you can, it would enhance the photo and keep me in looking around the photo. Nice capture. |

I really like your post processing! Yes would love to know which preset you used to add the great rays. I really love the shot, especially hand held. Did you try lightening the clouds on the right side? The sun rays draw me in, then i go to the dark clouds. Can you lighten the clouds and increase he sun rays on the right, to pull me across to them and not the sky? just a thought...

I really like your shot and how you did the post processing. I agree with Charles, I wish I had your post processing skills. Definitely a Chamber of Commerce brochure. |

Thank you all for your comments, they are very helpful. I went out a couple nights. I have a couple good shots in color. I ordered the book, looking forward to seeing what they have to say. i will look at the Ansel Adams in Topaz Studio. thank you. |
