Great subject and I think to take this to another level increased dof for the subject is needed and then darkening and blurring the background would improve this wonderful subject. |

I agree with the comments posted and would add that the black vertical midframe on the right of the subject is a bit distracting. Nice out of focus and very nice dof. |

Can't add anything that was already posted. A quick fix on the smudge would really help an otherwise very pleasing image. |

Very well done Murphy and I like that the background was not completely darkened as it adds to the scene. |

I agree with the comments posted and think a focus stack would have helped this interesting capture. Keeping the strands in the image was very creative. |

Well executed focus stack and nicely exposed. For me the background framing does not add anything to this wonderful image since the bottom of the frame is not visible. |

I agree the Owl is enhanced in the B & W presentation. My only suggestion is to darken the background highlights a smidge. |

Very creative and expertly presented, not much I could offer on improvements. Not sure I like the image extending beyond the border, but that is just me. |

Lovely specimen Ginny, I agree with the comments, but think you can improve this in LR, by selecting the subject and inverting the mask. Then just darken the background. Very quick and easy and should dramatically improve the image. |
