72 Jun 22 Reply yes I did notice that. Now it working closer to how I had hoped. Jun 29th
72 Jun 22 Comment Marie, since you used DeNoise, did you also try AI Sharpen? I quite often will use DeNoise first and follow up with Sharpen. (Remember to select the DeNoise TIF and then edit original) To me there is just a little bit of motion blur in this shot. The feet are sharp but the body and head is just a little soft to my aging eyes. Quite often AI Sharpen can help that. Jun 12th
72 Jun 22 Comment It must be the Nature Competition in me, as I prefer not to have "man-made" issues in my wildlife photos if I can help it. Other than that, the bird itself is great. Good detail, nice expression, good exposure. Jun 12th
72 Jun 22 Comment I kinda like more of the background. Having it among the trees and leaves of the jungle adds to the story IMHO. Also it give a size perspective. I wouldn't use the entire image but showing the trees (especially the one to the right) with the leaves to get the jungle feel, I think makes a great story. Costa Rica is still in my bucket list. 72 Jun 22 Comment Interesting, Isaac's touch-up... as I myself thought the background seemed a bit dark. The bird does stand out but for some reason, that was my first impression. The bird itself is great as you get feather details and as mentioned its nice and sharp. I do like the new crop also. Jun 12th
72 Jun 22 Comment Birds and Snakes... Such a set of subjects... Not much to say on this image. You capture the story going on. Cropping is good, I like the eyes... Jun 12th
72 Jun 22 Reply quick question. I've done a subject select and then an invert to get backgrounds, but if I try to use add/subtract to the mask first, I lose the INVERT option. Have you seen this? I vignetted this to knock down background, but I should probably also worked with it with HSL and knocked the greens down. I didn't want to get too dark. Jun 12th
