How strange, I commented on this photo w while ago and I don't see it. Well, I try to recreate it soon, no time today. |

Don't you hate the overcast in San Fran...? Very nice photo as you captured the essence of the scene. Just a suggestion to try... The actual "railing" of the roadway is a bit dark, might be nice to boost that up to get similar color as in the towers. (I know towers where in the sun and the back side of the bride in shadow, but that's where the creative gets to shine. |

I went back and did just a little bit of work as my PS skills have improved since I last worked on this image. It is interesting what I thought was acceptable 4 years ago vs now. |

Nice title, I definitely love the simplicity of the photo. The wood and sand provide interesting textures and the boat has a story. But something is just not sitting right in my mind. I think its due to the extra room on the right side, while the boat is "heading" left. However, I'm not sure if cropping might change the story, but I'd lower the top blue sky down to the left clouds, and then pull in the right side until it "feels" good. Do you have any extra image beyond the left side?

Very pretty and nice composition, leading lines.... Wow!
Is the grain intentional? I would think ISO 200 would not have that much noise in the sky. (perhaps its just the way it scales up on my 4K monitor) If intentional it does give the feeling of an older photograph, and sets a mood that I'm at a loss for words to describe, but I like it.

yeah that could help as they look blown out. This was a shot accidentally in jpg format. My camera had a major glitch and completely froze up the day prior. I had to completely remove all power and do a full up factory reset and eventually got working again. But it took me a while to get all my settings set back to what I had them. I didn't try to re-edit the photo, as I wanted to hear comments first. |

This was not in a national park and so there was no enforced guidelines. But if I recall this is probably a couple hundred feet away and I was next to my car with an open door. But he did come closer, but he only had one thing on his mind and it wasn't the photographers. |
