I see a great movement/turbulence and drama in the clouds. I think this is a good candidate for a black and white. When you have a day like that forced on you, what do you photograph? Sometime you have to make do. You can always make lemonade out of lemons. Great scene though.

Nice job Shirley. I have a similar photo taken in a park in Idaho and I might take inspiration from your photo to apply a similar effect. What software did you use to give it a painting like effect?

Dave, you have to excuse my candid ignorance, but having the focus on the tree is like taking a picture of the tree with a fall in the background. Was that your intention? Otherwise, why not keep focus on the fall with an out of focus tree? Love the scene. |

Love the dust lifted by the horses. Great sign of action. You froze the image. Perhaps I would have left a bit more space on top, but hey, it's a moment thing. Nice work.
