The transformation of this photo from a bland original to a dramatic, can't pull my eyes away, image is a lesson in the power of black and white. And your 0.5s shutter captured the dynamic surge of water in the channel through the rocks. |

I like the warm color of the walls in the original color image. Desaturating the circular glass dome in the center would create a sepia monochrome. |

Your usual excellent mono conversion, but I like the original better. The weathered gray lighthouse stands out more against the color background. And the muted early fall colors don't pull my eyes away from the subject. |
