Returning to this photo, I feel that the featureless bright sky detracts from your wonderful treatment of the tones and textures in the mountains. Tried cropping out most of the sky. This horizontally weighted frame compliments the predominantly horizontal lines in the landscape. |

I can read German, so spent some attention trying to figure it out. Without that knowledge I probably would have ignored it. |

Old streets impassable for cars are very appealing, a couple pedestrians could have added some life to the stones. Did you consider eliminating or including fully the graffiti on the wall? |

IR's unnatural white foliage always holds my attention, the blank sky you removed wouldn't help. You chose just the right shutter speed for the water flow. Another good lesson in creating strong images. |

I concur with Jim's suggestions. A natural looking color image usually benefits from a contrast boost when converted to monochrome. Showing more water helps the viewer understand the purpose of these structures. |

Your processing plan and execution worked very well. Even in our 8-bit jpeg rendering the subtle tonal variations look natural and convey the mood and depth in this landscape. |

I spent lots of time trying different contrast levels, many work well. |

Monochrome is a good choice, it brings out the contrast between the soft clouds and the hard lines of the structures. |
