Good discussion - I vote for Lance's crop and Henry's contrast.
After looking at these interesting monochromes for several minutes then scrolling back to the original - all I saw was green! The power of color. |

As my eye moves left to right very little changes, bottom to top we find featureless grass, shapes and textures of the trees, background sky. Consider a vertical crop. |

Nice work pulling out detail, confirming your good exposure settings in the initial capture. |

Nudes are good subjects, motorcycles are good subjects, but they don't fit well together. |

A successful capture of birds in flight requires a skilled photographer - especially in low light. In the low resolution rendering we see of Jim B's sharpened version there are bright halos at the edges of the wings that should be removed if present in the final image.
Interesting dialog on choice of direction. |

A useful reminder not to trust my old eyes in the viewfinder for aperture setting. |
