An example of "Less is more." Without the sky, monochrome adds to this image the question "Sunlight or moonlight?" |

Cropping off the bright reflection helps the viewers attention flow from bottom to top through the layers of this image. |

A balanced pattern of straight lines and curves, you have such a good eye for composition. |

Jim's crop and window treatments focus our attention on your subject. In addition the line by her mouth that Henry spotted, there is a hot spot at the tip of her nose that could be toned down. Thank you for persuading her to move into this light for the photo and for sharing it with us. The museum could use it for an advertising poster. |

Lines, shapes, and textures are important elements in monochrome; but this framing leave me frustrated by not showing anything about where these track go. A wider lens capturing more distance, implying a destination, could produce a more interesting image. |

All three versions hold my interest, but Henry's best fits Jim's title. The arrival of morning sunlight brightens the clouds first.
Thanks Jim for showing your distorted original, I just put a 12mm lens on my Fuji X-
S10 and needed your reminder to hold it level. |

Your tonal adjustments bring out the flow of light over this varied landscape. And I like the subtle texture in the sky in Albert's suggestion. This is a beautiful image. |

You pulled an interesting mono image from a dull color photo. |
