I was back in Galveston and had a chance to retake my August image, using some of the members' suggestions. I moved back a little farther to shoot looser, and from a higher angle. I then blurred and darkened the adjacent structures.		 Aug 23rd

11 Aug 21 Comment Good composition and sharp capture from a moving boat. This simple image held my attention with contrasts: strong straight lines and curves, the gnarled texture of the dead branch and the aerodynamic smoothness of the bird. Aug 8th
