I'll be the contrarian: I wish we could see its feet. Like human hands, birds feet reveal much about how they live. And the fencepost would tell us this is a free creature. |

My brain associates bright with action, so Tom's darker version feels less violent. I vote for your original tones. And you had the perfect shutter speed. |

There are two colors on the lizards back but you show only one shade of gray. Using the targeted adjustment color slider in the Lightroom's B&W Mix tool I pulled them apart. |

I agree with all the praise from my colleagues. Good contrast and detail throughout the range of tones shows skillful processing and should make a beautiful print. |
