Another good lesson, I should not have trashed all my "soft" photos!
Seriously this treatment really works, transforming a flower photo into an intriguing piece of art. The faded light background and cool color say "Slow down, relax, and look at me." |

Your well chosen tonal adjustments pull a powerful scene out of a dull photograph. The enhanced darks, contrast, and sharpness add "visual weight" to the right side, bringing the image nicely into balance. Get a big print and hang it proudly. |

Your choices of IR and short focal length make a really dramatic image from familiar subjects, very good work.
(The original would be popular in California, where transmission lines through forests have been blamed for igniting major wildfires.) |
