On screen I prefer your treatment, significantly lower lighting in the lounge area compared to the desk and shops is realistic. It might be a little dark in a print, but certainly worth a try. Thanks for the suggestion. |

One of the reasons we love photography, the ability to preserve a wonderful moment. |

I think the pattern in the dark feathers, most of which you cropped out, could contribute to a BW version. A quick first pass applying positive Exposure and negative Darks over the enlarged area of dark feathers with LR's brush tool produced the attached image. |

I have the opposite reaction from Jim's, the goofy name and bright tones put me in the right mood to see the humor in this scene. Darker and without the sign, I might wonder what's wrong here - did some old guy die inside that shack? |

I think this web has much more character than the perfectly engineered examples usually shared by photographers. |

The streaking lights create a dynamic mood for this city scene. But the building on the right is so dark that its streaks are imperceptibly dim, making it appear confusingly static. i suggest cropping out most of it. |

I concur with the praise of your shadow pattern capture, and add my compliment for your skill in cleaning up the contact of the window trim with the edge the frame. |
