Your monochrome treatment is a significant improvement for this photo. The fountain is a great background. On a hot day this summer I'll find fountain, sit in the shade with a long lens, and try to capture a similar shot. |

Interesting image. Shape contrast between wandering branches and straight lines of the buildings echoes the strong black and white tonal contrast.
One suggestion: most of the lines appear be converging, a square crop centered there feels more balanced to me than the original rectangle. |
