A good lesson in cropping. |

Imagine the noise when these huge gears were working! I like your choices of straight BW and darker look. One suggestion: at the step where you darkened the blues, brightening yellows and greens would add some highlights on the back wall. |

I prefer your first BW conversion (Original 2), the wolf's eyes are the brightest parts of the image. In your final version the lightened grass under his face competes with the eyes. |

Infrared and BW treatment really work for this scene. The bright, textured foliage against the soft dark clouds is classic Black and White, realistic color would have lost that contrast. Your crop brings the group of small trees forward, anchoring the strong diagonal flow through the scene. Very well done. |

WE are glad to have you back. Black and white is the appropriate treatment for this photo. Good exposure to keep detail in the white hair, but her position in front of a bright wall causes the top of her head to disappear into the background. |

This photo may inspire a new horror movie. Or a PSA Journal article titled "Shoot Before You Swat."
Seriously, your artistic imagination and technical skills turned this simple shot into a fascinating image. |
