I agree with you an Tom that the middle fences needed brightening. And your lighter sky brings out the random lines of the bare tree branches, a nice contrast to the repeating rectangles of the fences. |

A good example of the power of black and white. The high contrast processing that brings out the shapes and textures would look unnatural in color. |

The color image says "peacock tail", the black and white has more interesting possibilities: fluid flow lines in a wind tunnel or heat exchanger, pile of Halloween masks (the bottom right trio look like two eyes and a mouth), an exotic tropical fern, .... |

Lots of rhythmic lines, angles, shapes, and tones - you recognized a great subject for monochrome. And the soft shapes of the clouds in the reflection are good contrast for the precise rectangles in the buildings. Very good work! |
