Thanks, Martin, I wish I could say that I purposely arranged the vegetables by the brightest colors forward, and maybe in my subconscious it just looked better, but I will keep that in mind going forward. |

Thanks, Jim, yes, as I was trying to correct the color of the background, I didn't notice that the veggies got goofy. I definitely need to fix that. |

Thanks so much, Piers! You are absolutely right about the color. I didn't notice that the coloring of all the veggies got weird when I was adjusting the white balance for the background. Thanks for pointing it out. |

Happy New Year, Martin! What better way to close the year than to submit a festive image? I know there's no holiday hangings, but the three different color cars facing you, all lined up perfectly, showing a beautiful backdrop of the city is just wonderful. I keep thinking about a trip to Cuba, especially since it's not far from me. I think your image just sealed the thought! |

Happy New Year, Shirley! What an interesting perspective for this image! The lines and shapes of the Ferris wheel captive one's eye leading it all around the image. I agree with the other comments in that the sky/vignette around the image is a bit too magenta. |

Happy New Year, Piers! I really like the backlit, red foliage of this plant, but I wish the background was darker to have more separation. I like Martin's idea of a more isolated part of the plant. |

Happy New Year, Jim! I love your imageā¦it's very creative! I know what you mean about all the reflections. Our camera club visited a local indoor custom car showroom. The lights and reflections prohibited me from getting anything that I liked. I should have been more creative in my thinking and concentrating on the small details. |
