Yes, I like the additional edits. I've been to similar events and know how difficult it is to isolate the main subject. |

Wow, what suburb focus! My eye focused right on the tips of the dark stamen that, to me, appear as though they are jumping out at me. I would add a bit of canvas at the top of the image as it feels really tight. I love the little water droplet hanging on at the bottom. Nice job, Jaqueline! |

Lovely tulips, Shirley, and I do like the B&W conversion. I do agree with Martin, as the top flower is so close to the bottom that it would have been less distracting if in focus. I also have this thing about flowers that are floating. I think it would be a stronger image if the flower(s) had a foundation, a stem. Just my personal preference when the flower does not take up the full frame. |

Thanks, Martin! Yes, I was cursed with flat light that day. My final photo with the Adamski Effect is the one to comment on. The one that's posted large was straight out of camera.
Just google the Adamski effect. It is fun to watch a drab image turn into a creative work! |

Wonderful edits, Martin. I love how the bollards move the viewer right to the vivid graffiti on the building. You removed the parked cars splendidly! I had to zoom in to the original to see what was actually behind the cars. Great street photography image! |

Piers, wow, what an interesting story! The dancer is so colorful and there is a lot going on that you tried to cut out. I feel, in doing so, that the dancer is too confined. I think the easiest additional cloning would be of the gentleman standing behind the dancer's left hand. I would try cloning the gentleman with the bush so not to cut off the dancer's sticks. It also feels a bit tight overhead. I realize by cropping the top off it became less distracting, but I'm not sure the outcome is better. This is a very difficult image to manipulate. Great crack at it! |

Jim, I think you did a wonderful job editing this image. I love how the rope railing moves the viewer right to the lighthouse. Your choice of sky replacement reminds me more of a sunset, but regardless, I think it works great. Very nice image. I would print it! |
