Brrrr! It's amazing that the Witch Hazel blooms in the snow. Is that normal? I agree with some of the other comments in that I would crop a bit to direct the viewer to a particular location in the image. A larger depth of field would have brought more in focus as Piers has mention. Hope you are starting to see Spring by now! |

Great image! I agree with your further edits as posted on 3/16. Love the rim lighting around both guitarists. It's challenging to photograph is that kind of lighting. Great job! |

Nice capture of Mom and baby. Agree with others' comments about distracting surroundings, but as Shirley mentioned, when in nature, one must improvise. Learning how to remove some of those unwanted items in post-processing can sometimes help as well. I would crop a bit more off the left side to remove those leaves hanging out there and maybe try to get rid of that post in Photoshop. When all else falls, add a texture background. |

Wonderful image of the entire group of pelicans. I like the original better than the cropped version. To me the crop is too zoomed in and takes away from that "group" feel. And because the lead bird is not sharply focused, I would not crop that tightly. Just my opinion. Love the reflections. |

Jim, I agree with Shirley in that the angled perspective makes me more curious and want to explore the image further. I do agree with Martin though that this is more a reflections image than through the window. I love the vivid colors and the painterly look. |

Shirley, thank you so much. I'm glad you liked and commented on the frame and matting. I wasn't too sure about all the pink. Much appreciated! |
