Wow, Harry, my first response is that the hypos are really "in your face" close, but the details of the male are great! I would probably darken down the rocks a bit more and add a slight off-centered vignette to the image. Other then numbers, the rumps of all the females aren't as important to the photo as the male, imho. I would try to use lighting to draw one's attention more to him. |

Nice capture, Brenda, of 2 difficult subjects. I like the color image over the B&W. Your cloning out of the pole worked out fine. You could have also used the lasso tool and content aware as well. I'm not sure how I would change the crop. I think what you have makes the most sense of anything I thought of. Great job! |

Love the composition of this Trout Lily. I,too, like the fading of the stem below. I know it's hard to figure out what to do with stems sometimes, but I really like this idea. Super editing! |
