2 Jul 20 Comment I think the essence of what drew you to this image were the 3 women precariously balancing all of these vases so I would change the crop to focus on that. Not sure if you had already cropped your original and might have a bit more on the left. Using Lightroom, I also added a gradient filter to cut down on the harsh lighting coming in from the right and one coming up from the bottom left. I used the brush tool to lift the shadows on some the vases. See what you think. Jul 13th
2 Jul 20 Comment Beautiful shot, Shirley. I agree with some others' comments in that I'd add more blue to the sky. I would also darken down the rock in the foreground to the left of the image. To me, it almost feels as though it's blocking the view to the canyon. Jul 13th
2 Jul 20 Comment Wow, so much detail in this flower. Love how you cloned the background to balance it across the bottom of the Iris. I wonder what lifting the shadows a bit across the top left and top right of the Iris might do? Jul 13th
2 Jul 20 Comment Wow, very creative in deed! I don't think I would have ever come up with that idea. I love how the "V" works in the image. The only thing I might suggest is to lower the highlights a bit across the top of the image. They seems a bit too bright. Jul 13th
