I'm so glad you mentioned the watercolor effect because I felt the same after my edits. Thanks so much, Martin! |

Wow, a very passionate capture. Your edits are wonderful given the blown-out background. I do like your final edit with the addition of lightening her left shoulder. Great job! |

I think the essence of what drew you to this image were the 3 women precariously balancing all of these vases so I would change the crop to focus on that. Not sure if you had already cropped your original and might have a bit more on the left. Using Lightroom, I also added a gradient filter to cut down on the harsh lighting coming in from the right and one coming up from the bottom left. I used the brush tool to lift the shadows on some the vases. See what you think. |

Beautiful shot, Shirley. I agree with some others' comments in that I'd add more blue to the sky. I would also darken down the rock in the foreground to the left of the image. To me, it almost feels as though it's blocking the view to the canyon. |

Wow, so much detail in this flower. Love how you cloned the background to balance it across the bottom of the Iris. I wonder what lifting the shadows a bit across the top left and top right of the Iris might do? |

Wow, very creative in deed! I don't think I would have ever come up with that idea. I love how the "V" works in the image. The only thing I might suggest is to lower the highlights a bit across the top of the image. They seems a bit too bright. |
