99 Sep 22 Comment Nice image, a lot of details (bricks, socks, shoe, reeds and ...) I think it does look better without the hand as the foot is the center and the hand (to me) does not add enough to warrant being in the picture. While I do like this image I find myself imagining what the person looked like, were they older with a worn face, happy, sad, beat up hands and so on. The image sparked my imagination, bravo. 99 Sep 22 Comment I like the objects in the image, but overall it seems too grainy and stark to me, both the original and the b/w renditions. I did try doing some of my own edits on it but I pretty much failed at trying to have your image meet my image of it, if the makes sense. Sep 13th
99 Sep 22 Comment I've been to Yellowstone and when I first saw the photo without reading the description I immediately thought of Yellowstone and it plumes of steam and fog. Nicely taken and edited. Good job. Sep 13th
99 Sep 22 Comment Very nice image and I like it even better with the cloud at their feet. Perhaps some shadows from the dancer legs would make it even better. I like the detail in the brick and Chaplins eyes looking straight out. Reading through all of the comments from the others covers it for me. Great effort and vision. Sep 13th
99 Sep 22 Comment I like architectural photography because of the lines and the simple/complex play between buildings and objects. With the exception of the fan and the diagonal wires this image is very much made up of rectangular objects. I would crop more of the bottom of the photo as I think their is too much of "nothing" and then I would remove the diagonal wires leaving only the fan as the non-rectangular object. I overall like the image and it is tough to do a photo walk through an area you know well and "find" images.

99 Sep 22 Comment My wife grows flowers and can visually identify most, not me. I am glad you said it was a daisy because then I can call my wife over and say, "Wow, hey dear, look at this "daisy". The detail in the flower is great, the lighting really shows the flower well. The tissue paper background is well done without hinting that it's paper, nicely done. Sep 13th
99 Sep 22 Comment Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. Each one somehow changes the photo and makes it different, net necessarily better or worse. My problem becomes I like each change but how to chose which one as the "definitive one". I was also struck by the "face", I've looked at, zoomed in on it and am somewhat fascinated by it and that it's not really "there". Rules broken? absolutely, I have never been one much for following the rules. I learn them and then forget or discard them and go with what pleases my eye, even though its older, blurrier and somewhat colorblind it does suit me well. I do try hard to have a story for each photo as, to me, that's what it's about. Thank you all for your comments and time. Sep 13th
