Great image, love the joy showing in his face. Great detail, all the movement is captured cleanly. Some good stories in this image and the time spent creating it. Two things that I am interested in but not sure how it would be done, 1) how to show how high the flying is without clutter in the background; and 2) we "know" by the image that their must be motion, but nothing in the image tells/shows us the motion. Our brains supply that message via our collective experiences. Is it possible to show movement through a slight trailing blur without losing the clarity of the image? Again very nice... |

Day lilies are beautiful and we had some amidst the myriad of flowers and vegetables that my wife grows. I find the grass in the background too sharp and bright, so much so that it, for me, competes for the center of attention. It also appears that the flower has a shadow, like a stripe of darkness, across the center of the flower. To me it takes away from the overall image. |

A great image with a lot of stories that pop out. Humphrey Bogard as Sam Spade in the Maltese Falcon pursuing the girl pops into mind immediately. Wonderful imagery. The only thing I find a distraction is the shadow immediately below her nose, otherwise I think its great. |
