Sorry but I honestly don't remember if this was hand held or on a tripod. |

Good eye, I did clone that in, my intent was to stop the eye from wandering up above image (provides some closure). |

I don't know what it is about this image that by brain doesn't like. It's sharp, well delineated and has good contrast. I thought maybe it was the photo leading my eyes from right to left (being left handed I would think that would appeal to me).I took the photo and flipped it around and really determined nothing, other than I like it "pointed" down. Nicely done, it drew me into the image and got me to spend time with it while trying to figure out my brain. |

Yep I can always use another cup of coffee. I also like street photography in b/w and this image is great. Nicely done. |

I like the b/w much better than the color. Definitely has the Charlie Chaplin feel. I wonder how the image would look with the background looking like that sputtering end to an old b/w movie with sepia added to the background only (I myself am not good at cutting and replacing backgrounds). If the male's legs were just slightly apart it would remove the long dark line between the knees to the lower buttocks lessening the "distraction". I however, find all the buttocks in the image to be a rather pleasant distraction. ;) |

Overall I like the image and its' details. However, I think the bright corner spots take ones' eyes away from the details and bring them to the bright white corners. I cropped the image and lower the exposure to produce my version of your photo. Different but perhaps not better. |
