Overall, I like your image. The slight perspective change and the added spider web lines definitely enhance the image. I also struggle with what is abstract in my own images. I can see where you removed the security sensor, not sure how you did it but the "patch" doesn't quite match the frame where it was mount. I like the cropping but some white does show at the bottom of the image.

Good image, I like all of the texture and shadows seen in the seed pods and in the background. Your comment on the lighting is very interesting also, I think I would have liked to see the top right corner a little darker so some details could be seen in the background. The top right being so bright pulls my eye towards it. I was wondering how you arrived at your title? |

Nice image. I love the texture and the details, particularly the water droplets, and the sharp focus. I have only tried focus stacking a few times and have not been very successful at it. I'm not sure about the side view though, perhaps tilted at a 45 degree so the stem is still visible but more of the flower is seen. I'm not familiar with Helicon Focus, is their a benefit to using it versus doing it all in Photoshop? |
